The increasing demand for efficient surface treatment techniques in various industries has spurred extensive investigation into laser ablation. This study explicitly compares the efficiency of pulsed laser ablation for the elimination of both paint coatings and rust oxide from ferrous substrates. We noted that while both materials are vulnerable to
